Clawfoot tub by Waterworks in an elegant master bathroom in a major remodel of a traditional Palo Alto home. This freestanding tub was painted a custom color on site. Notice the decorative tile border on the wainscot. A ledge allows room for a sculpture. There is both recessed lighting and surface-mounted lighting as the custom vanity made of cherry wood has shaded wall sconces.

This project was a joy to work on, as we married our firm’s modern design aesthetic with the client’s more traditional and rustic taste. We gave new life to all three bathrooms in her home, making better use of the space in the powder bathroom, optimizing the layout for a brother & sister to share a hall bath, and updating the primary bathroom with a large curbless walk-in shower and luxurious clawfoot tub. Though each bathroom has its own personality, we kept the palette cohesive throughout all three.

Vintage style bathroom featuring a glass door for corner shower, granite countertops, claw-foot tub and classic lighting. Pewter drawer pulls, beaded custom cabinet panels, glass cabinet doors and matching built-in vanities.

New Bathroom in Palo Alto Traditional Home Renovation. Custom cherry cabinets with polished nickel fixtures. Three sconces with shades are interspersed with the custom mirrors. The reflections in the mirrors show the french doors leading to a balcony, the shower with traditional plumbing fixtures, a skylight, and a large built-in cabinet.

This bathroom features a clawfoot soaking tub which was custom painted and placed within the shower to create a wet room. The tile was kept classic with a 3" honed marble hexagon on the floors and classic white subway tile on the walls. Brass Waterworks fixtures complete the look.

Total renovation of a master bathroom. His and hers vanities, clawfoot tub built on a pedestal, for a better view out the window, and tile accents around the medicine cabinets, and in the large niche. Walls were tiled floor to ceiling.
