A master bathroom should be filled with all kinds of luxury amenities and this one certainly is. Stunning, free-standing bathtub, double vanities, lighted mirrors and a true walk-in shower make this bathroom the definition of luxury.

The hall bath was reorganized slightly. For years, the toilet greeted you as the first view as you ascended the stairs from the first floor. The toilet is now rotated 90 degrees. and the window was relocated from the original back of the house where the primary bathroom is to the side of the house. The original medicine chest/mirror was re-finished and a 60" vanity with storage replaced the pedestal sink that served the family of 5 for years. The same floors and color scheme was used in both the newly renovated hall bath and the Primary Bath...keeping the vocabulary of the relatively small home consistent. Waterworks facets complete the look and honor the period of the home.

This master bath is uniquely shaped and we wanted to maximize the visual impact upon entering to really give that "wow" effect. In addition to visual beauty, we also added a lot of features to make this space function well for the client, including the storage combination in the custom vanities we created to wrap the angles seen here. This traditional primary bath is just what the client had in mind. The changes included separating the vanities to his and hers, moving the shower to the opposite wall and adding the freestanding tub. The details gave the traditional look the client wanted in the space including double stack crown, framing around the mirrors, mullions in the doors with mirrors, and feet at the bottom of the vanities. The beaded inset cabinets with glass knobs also added to make the space feel clean and special. To keep the palate clean we kept the cabinetry a soft neutral and white quartz counter and and tile in the shower. The floor tile in marble with the beige square matched perfectly with the neutral theme.
