Tapered legs gave a little additional style to the cabinet without losing the simple rustic feel associated to a southwest environment.

The master bath took the place of an existing porch. Granite, natural colored glass tiles and rustic maple cabinets relate well to the nature beyond the large window.
This 1961 Cape Cod was well-sited on a beautiful acre of land in a Washington, DC suburb. The new homeowners loved the land and neighborhood and knew the house could be improved. The owners loved the charm of the home’s façade and wanted the overall look to remain true to the original home and neighborhood. They wanted to use lots of natural materials, like reclaimed wood floors, stone, and granite. In addition, they wanted the house to be filled with light, using lots of large windows where possible.
When all was said and done, the homeowners got a home they love on the land they cherish. This project was truly satisfying and the homeowners LOVE their new residence.

Keeping the bathroom feeling spacious and grand, the designer went with a glass enclosed walk in shower that is slightly recessed into the corner (technically an alcove), allowing for the space of the shower to not impact the overall feel of the bathroom.
Granite Grannies
Leathered Saturnia Granite shower seat to match the granite on the bathroom counters, tub surround, and the rest of the counters throughout the home.
This rustic lodge sits on 80 acres of beautiful Southern Maryland woods and farmland. The homeowners wanted to use one spectacular stone throughout the entire home, so we helped them choose a Brazilian Saturnia Granite with a leathered finish. For this project, we used eleven slabs of this unique granite with flecks of silver mica and cosmic swirls of translucent quartz.

Inside the shower: the niche comes in handy for all those oversized shampoos from Costco. Also the grab bar is a must in today's bathrooms.
