Bathroom

This shower is well on its way to completion as part of a larger bathroom remodel. The monochromatic space has a variety of textural and shading variations using glossy, matte, and deco tiles to create visual interest without visual clutter.

Manuel Pinilla acomete la reforma integral de una vivienda en el barrio sevillano de Nervión. Se trata de una casa pareada de los años 60 del arquitecto Ricardo Espiau con ciertos rasgos regionalistas que se han mantenido a pesar de las intervenciones que ha sufrido con el tiempo, incluyendo un anexo añadido al fondo de la parcela. Pinilla decide redistribuir la planta alta para conseguir dos baños donde había uno y dejar el suelo de esta planta al mismo nivel eliminando los escalones existentes.

Bath project was to demo and remove existing tile and tub and convert to a shower, new counter top and replace bath flooring. Vanity Counter Top – MS International Redwood 6”x24” Tile with a top mount copper bowl and Delta Venetian Bronze Faucet. Shower Walls: MS International Redwood 6”x24” Tile in a horizontal offset pattern. Shower Floor: Emser Venetian Round Pebble. Plumbing: Delta in Venetian Bronze. Shower Door: Frameless 3/8” Barn Door Style with Oil Rubbed Bronze fittings. Bathroom Floor: Daltile 18”x18” Fidenza Bianco.

Bagno: area lavabo. Pareti e volta in mosaico marmoreo, piano e cornici in marmo "emperador brown", laccatura in "Grigio di Parma". Lavabo da appoggio con troppo-pieno incorporato (senza foro). --- Bathroom: sink area. Marble mosaic finished walls and vault, "emperador brown" marble top and light blue lacquering. Deep in the woods, this mountain cabin just outside Asheville, NC, was designed as the perfect weekend getaway space. The owner uses it as an Airbnb for income. From the wooden cathedral ceiling to the nature-inspired loft railing, from the wood-burning free-standing stove, to the stepping stone walkways—everything is geared toward easy relaxation. For maximum interior space usage, the sleeping loft is accessed via an outside stairway.
