As part of a refurbishment to the whole house, this bathroom was located on the top floor of the house and dedicated to our clients four daughters. When our clients first set out with planning the bathroom, they didn’t think it was possible to fit a bath as well as a shower in due to the slopped ceilings and pitched roof.

The downstairs bathroom the clients were wanting a space that could house a freestanding bath at the end of the space, a larger shower space and a custom- made cabinet that was made to look like a piece of furniture. A nib wall was created in the space offering a ledge as a form of storage. The reference of black cabinetry links back to the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom, whilst the consistency of the classic look was again shown through the use of subway tiles and patterned floors.

El objetivo era crear un espacio neutro pero con algunos toques de color a gusto del cliente, aprovechando al máximo las vistas al exuberante paisaje verde. Los muebles neutros con base beige, y detalles como alfombras en tonos rojizos o terracotas, contrastan con los materiales lujosos como mármoles o bronces utilizados en la construcción del edificio. En el dormitorio principal diseñamos la cama y la alfombra a medida por el equipo de Oboe.

This second floor addition added a master bathroom and walk-in closet for the existing master bedroom. The cathedral ceiling and large windows brought in sunlight and gained great views of the wooded back yard.
