This secondary Master Bath features Moca Cream limestone throughout the floor space with a dark, textural porcelain wrapping all of the walls. Metal strips break up the porcelain and create linear movement throughout the space. The African mahogany floating vanities are topped with Bianco Rhino Savana marble, which adds a soft lightness to the space.

The powder bath is the perfect place to showcase a bold style and really make a statement. Channeling the best of Hollywood we went dark and glam in this space. Polished black marble flooring provides a stunning contrast to the Sanded Damask Mirror tiles that flank the surrounding walls. No other vanity could possibly suit this space quite like the Miami from Devon & Devon in black lacquer. Above the vanity we selected the Beauty Mirror (also from Devon & Devon) with rich detailed sconces from Kallista. Cabochon Surfaces & Fixtures

The design of the cabin began with the client’s discovery of an old mirror which had once been part of a hall tree. Painted In a rustic white finish, the orange pine walls of the cabin were painted by the homeowners on hand using a sock and rubbing paint with a light hand so that the knots would show clearly and you would achieve the look of a lime-washed wall. A custom vanity was fashioned to match the details on the antique mirror and a textured iron vessel sink sits atop. Polished nickel faucets, cast iron tub, and old fashioned toilet are from Herbeau. The antique French Iron bed was located on line and brought in from California. The peeling paint shows the layers of age with French blue, white and rust tones peeking through. An iron chandelier adorned with Strauss crystal and created by Schonbek hangs from the ceiling and matching sconces are fastened into the mirror. This bathroom reflects a current feel that can be classified as transitional living or soft modern. Once again an example of white contrasting beautifully with dark cherry wood. The large bathroom vanity mirror makes the bathroom feel larger than it is.

This mid-century custom home had always intrigued me, so I was thrilled when asked by the homeowners to help to renovate their kitchen, master bath as well as three other bathrooms. Having a true sense of the home's essence and history, they were not afraid to use exotic and precious finishes to highlight its uniqueness. All doorknob sets and faucet sets are by Sherle Wagner and carefully selected by the homeowners to be unique to each space.
