I used a tumbled thin brick in a herringbone pattern on the floor, dark wood paneling on the walls, and an old dresser for the vanity. This small room packs in a lot of character and sophistication.

Monk's designed and totally remodeled a full bathroom for the Mansion in May fundraiser in New Vernon, New Jersey. An outdated black and brown bath was transformed. We designed a fully tiled shower alcove, a free-standing tub, and double vanity. We added picture-frame wainscoting to the lower walls and painted the upper walls a deep gray.

Desde luego, en este proyecto de interiorismo y decoración, el equipo de Molins Design afrontó distintos retos arquitectónicos. We were commissioned to transform a large run-down flat occupying the ground floor and basement of a grand house in Hampstead into a spectacular contemporary apartment. The property was originally built for a gentleman artist in the 1870s who installed various features including the gothic panelling and stained glass in the living room, acquired from a French church. Since its conversion into a boarding house soon after the First World War, and then flats in the 1960s, hardly any remedial work had been undertaken and the property was in a parlous state. The clear glass shower screen has black fittings to match the tapware and prevents splash onto the vanity zone. The side to the wall bath provides the style of a freestanding bath, without the required floor area.
