The heavily paneled honey stained door with bronze hardware and crystal knob provide entry into this Italian Country inspired powder room. Ivory plaster walls serve as a backdrop to the traditional painting depicting the Italian countryside. Tucked below the arched ceiling detail is a custom vanity wearing a distressed and glazed blue stain. The exposed hinges and bronze cabinet pulls give Old World charm as does the wood top, which is stained to match the room’s door and moldings. Above the wood top sits an additional top made of durable Quartzite. The metal sink, polished nickel faucet and Venetian mirror and sparkle. The toilet in biscuit is by Kohler.

A master bathroom we dressed in cool, coastal blues and sea greens. We gave this bathroom a colorful but minimalist style, creating a refreshing, clean, and spa-like feel. The crisp white freestanding tub is placed near the tiled accent wall (a full-wall adorned in micro blue and green tiles). A floating glass shelf offers the perfect amount of space to place bath products while staying transparent and uncluttered. Behind the tub are two separate spaces, one of the large walk-in shower and the other for the toilet. The vanity boasts beautiful cabinets, silver hardware, and a lustrous shell-like backsplash. The client contacted August Grace Interiors after starting the remodel. They wanted help selecting paint colors and finish materials. The outcome is a clean modern farmhouse look. This project was done on a limited budget and included laying vinyl plank flooring over existing ceramic tile to reduce expense and to minimize disruption to the family's main bathroom.

16th Century Manor Bathroom

Bathroom Remodel, custom finishes all teh way through.

This master bath was an explosion of travertine and beige. The clients wanted an updated space without the expense of a full remodel. We layered a textured faux grasscloth and painted the trim to soften the tones of the tile. The existing cabinets were painted a bold blue and new hardware dressed them up. The crystal chandelier and mirrored sconces add sparkle to the space. New larger mirrors bring light into the space and a soft linen roman shade with embellished tassel fringe frames the bathtub area. Our favorite part of the space is the well traveled Turkish rug to add some warmth and pattern to the space.

Normandy Design Manager Troy Pavelka created this master bathroom as part of a master suite addition to a Victorian home. Staying true to that era, he selected detailed and ornate blue tile throughout the space.
