After discussing the project with Mary, the solution was to do a thorough remodel, taking the room down to the studs. We converted the old door to a barn door to free up extra floor space and make the bathroom accessible for aging in place

New Luxury vinyl plank flooring covers the whole home with exceptions of tile in the laundry room, hall bath and master bath. Completing the journey of this remodel is the master bathroom. A custom-made hale navy vanity provides the pop of color against the floor which was cascaded with Evostone Ivory Hexagon Mosaic tile. A new stunning shower rounds out this master bath, that is enveloped in Pan American Bianco Ceramic tile with not one but two shower niches the perfect place to house any bodywash, shampoo and conditioner to your liking. Completing the room are the accented Champagne bronze shower fixtures and matte black sink faucet and medicine cabinet.

This master bath design features KraftMaid's Breslin door style in Midnight, Envi Quartz in Statuatio Fiora, Berenson Hardware's Swagger Collection modern brushed gold pulls, and Delta faucets.

Clients were looking to completely update the main and second levels of their late 80's home to a more modern and open layout with a traditional/craftsman feel. Check out the re-purposed dining room converted to a comfortable seating and bar area as well as the former family room converted to a large and open dining room off the new kitchen. The master suite's floorplan was re-worked to create a large walk-in closet/laundry room combo with a beautiful ensuite bathroom including an extra-large walk-in shower. Also installed were new exterior windows and doors, new interior doors, custom shelving/lockers and updated hardware throughout. Extensive use of wood, tile, custom cabinetry, and various applications of colour created a beautiful, functional, and bright open space for their family.

This half bath off the mudroom area repeats the navy painted cabinetry and yellow walls.

When an old neighbor referred us to a new construction home built in my old stomping grounds I was excited. First, close to home. Second it was the EXACT same floor plan as the last house I built. We had a local contractor, Curt Schmitz sign on to do the construction and went to work on layout and addressing their wants, needs, and wishes for the space. Since they had a fireplace upstairs they did not want one int he basement. This gave us the opportunity for a whole wall of built-ins with Smart Source for major storage and display. We also did a bar area that turned out perfectly. The space also had a space room we dedicated to work out space with a barn door. We did luxury vinyl plank throughout, even in the bathroom, which we have been doing increasingly.

Upgrades to bathroom include new semi-custom vanity with quartz countertops and brushed nickel plumbing and accessory finishes.
