This bathroom in our client's lovely three bedroom one bath home in the North Park Neighborhood needed some serious help. The existing layout and size created a cramped space seriously lacking storage and counter space. The goal of the remodel was to expand the bathroom to add a larger vanity, bigger bath tub long and deep enough for soaking, smart storage solutions, and a bright updated look. To do this we pushed the southern wall 18 inches, flipped flopped the vanity to the opposite wall, and rotated the toilet. A new 72 inch three-wall alcove tub with subway tile and a playfull blue penny tile make create the spacous and bright bath/shower enclosure. The custom made-to-order shower curtain is a fun alternative to a custom glass door. A small built-in tower of storage cubbies tucks in behind wall holding the shower plumbing. The vanity area inlcudes an Ikea cabinet, counter, and faucet with simple mirror medicine cabinet and chrome wall sconces. The wall color is Reflection by Sherwin-Williams.

A clean simple nautical bathroom. Framed burgee's from the clients YC's, paired with oversized cleats as hooks, dark blue gloss finished walls, mahogany cabinets, tub surround, absolute black granite tops and bright white under mounted sinks, paired with polished nickel hardware help to give a custom and tailored finish capturing the clients personality.

This bathroom was part of an addition to a home on Chicago's North Shore. The seemless addition was created by Award Winning Normandy Designer Vince Weber. The dark stained vanity adds contrast to the master bathroom against the powder blue painted walls. The soft bathroom lighting enhances the spa like space even further.

This home features two powder bathrooms. This basement level powder bathroom, off of the adjoining gameroom, has a fun modern aesthetic. The navy geometric wallpaper and asymmetrical layout provide an unexpected surprise. Matte black plumbing and lighting fixtures and a geometric cutout on the vanity doors complete the modern look.

Hallway bathroom. Simple clean materials

This powder room is bold through and through. Painted the same throughout in the same shade of blue, the vanity, walls, paneling, ceiling, and door create a bold and unique room. A classic take on a monotone palette in a small space.

Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. What is the secret to a beautiful bath in 2020? A comforting warm room with natural light and a simple serene setting. Add inspiring colors that suggest a feeling of nature and wellness. This serene bath was designed by Jackie Friberg along with the talented homeowner. The inspiration was to provide a tranquil and relaxing retreat to unwind in after a busy day. The classics are always calming elements which provide a level of simplicity along with the dark navy wallpaper for energy and brightness.

The bathroom got a fresh, updated look by adding an accent wall of blue grass cloth wallpaper, a bright white vanity with a vessel sink and a mirror and lighting with a woven material to add texture and warmth to the space.
