Thoughtful details make this small powder room renovation uniquely beautiful. Due to its location partially under a stairway it has several unusual angles. We used those angles to have a vanity custom built to fit. The new vanity allows room for a beautiful textured sink with widespread faucet, space for items on top, plus closed and open storage below the brown, gold and off-white quartz countertop. Unique molding and a burled maple effect finish this custom piece. Classic toile (a printed design depicting a scene) was inspiration for the large print blue floral wallpaper that is thoughtfully placed for impact when the door is open. Smokey mercury glass inspired the romantic overhead light fixture and hardware style. The room is topped off by the original crown molding, plus trim that we added directly onto the ceiling, with wallpaper inside that creates an inset look.

Blue coastal retreat

More and more clients are asking about enlarging their shower and removing the master bathtub. The new design accommodates a spacious shower and a L-shaped bench seat that conceals a plumbing pipe that would have been cost prohibitive to move. The space is now vibrant and functional. The incorporation of simple and affordable white subway tile mounted vertically, creates a sense of "height" in the bathroom. The custom cabinetry was key. This custom vanity offers ample drawer and closed storage in the condo sized hall bathroom. Meanwhile, the custom linen cabinet, which is recessed into the wall, increases the storage options without losing any main floor space. Another perk...the bottom compartment of the linen cabinet houses the litterbox - a great feature for our client to conveniently hide it when entertaining guests. This client wanted a master bathroom remodel with traditional elements such as a claw foot tub, traditional plumbing fixtures and light fixtures. Also wanted a barn door slider with a pop of color!

This master bathroom was partially an old hall bath that was able to be enlarged due to a whole home addition. The homeowners needed a space to spread out and relax after a long day of working on other people's homes (yes - they do what we do!) A spacious floor plan, large tub, over-sized walk in shower, a smart commode, and customized enlarged vanity did the trick! The cabinets are from WW Woods Shiloh inset, in their furniture collection. Maple with a Naval paint color make a bold pop of color in the space. Robern cabinets double as storage and mirrors at each vanity sink. The master closet is fully customized and outfitted with cabinetry from California Closets. The tile is all a Calacatta Gold Marble - herringbone mosaic on the floor and a subway in the shower. Golden and brass tones in the plumbing bring warmth to the space. The vanity faucets, shower items, tub filler, and accessories are from Watermark. The commode is "smart" and from Toto.
