Master Suite with walk-in closet and master bath with zero threshold shower

This home has a beautiful ocean view, and the homeowners wanted to connect the inside and outside. We achieved this by removing the entire roof and outside walls in the kitchen and living room area, replacing them with a dramatic steel and wood structure and a large roof overhang. We love the open floor plan and the fun splashes of color throughout this remodel.

The powder room has a transitional-coastal feel with blues, whites and warm wood tones. The vanity is from Mouser Cabinetry in the Winchester door style with a charcoal stain. The toilet is the one-piece Kathryn model from Kohler. The plumbing fixtures are from the Kohler Artifacts collection in brushed bronze. When designing and installing this bathroom, dRemodeling went to no expensive to give the bathroom only the highest of quality and consistency. In this instance, the tiling of the backsplash didn't need to be placed within the two doorways and trim. However, the continuation of the tiling to the designer integral to the effect of the enveloping backsplash, and therefore, giving careful consideration and time when designing, and installing.
