Gardner/Fox designed and updated this home's master and third-floor bath, as well as the master bedroom. The first step in this renovation was enlarging the master bathroom by 25 sq. ft., which allowed us to expand the shower and incorporate a new double vanity. Updates to the master bedroom include installing a space-saving sliding barn door and custom built-in storage (in place of the existing traditional closets. These space-saving built-ins are easily organized and connected by a window bench seat. In the third floor bath, we updated the room's finishes and removed a tub to make room for a new shower and sauna.

A laundry room, mud room, and 3/4 guest bathroom were created in a once unfinished garage space. We went with pretty traditional finishes, leading with both creamy white and dark wood cabinets, complemented by black fixtures and river rock tile accents in the shower.

Focusing here on the custom bow-front vanity with marble countertop and a pair of vertical wall sconces flanking the mirror over a single under-mount sink. The white and grey glass mosaic tile colors relate to this luxurious bathroom’s foggy Bay Area location, and the silver finish tones in. Vertical light fixtures either side of the mirror make for perfect balance when shaving or applying make-up. Oversized floor tiles outside the shower echo the smaller floor tiles inside. All the colors are working in harmony for a peaceful and uplifting space.

In this bathroom remodel, a Medallion Silverline Carlisle Vanity with matching York mirrors in the Smoke Stain was installed. The countertop and shower curb are Envi Carrara Luce quartz. This artistic and design-forward family approached us at the beginning of the pandemic with a design prompt to blend their love of midcentury modern design with their Caribbean roots. With her parents originating from Trinidad & Tobago and his parents from Jamaica, they wanted their home to be an authentic representation of their heritage, with a midcentury modern twist. We found inspiration from a colorful Trinidad & Tobago tourism poster that they already owned and carried the tropical colors throughout the house — rich blues in the main bathroom, deep greens and oranges in the powder bathroom, mustard yellow in the dining room and guest bathroom, and sage green in the kitchen. This project was featured on Dwell in January 2022.

Light and Airy shiplap bathroom was the dream for this hard working couple. The goal was to totally re-create a space that was both beautiful, that made sense functionally and a place to remind the clients of their vacation time. A peaceful oasis. We knew we wanted to use tile that looks like shiplap. A cost effective way to create a timeless look. By cladding the entire tub shower wall it really looks more like real shiplap planked walls. The center point of the room is the new window and two new rustic beams. Centered in the beams is the rustic chandelier. Can you believe this bath used to have a tiny single vanity and freestanding tub? We transformed this bath with a spa like shower and wall hung vanity with plenty of storage.

Medallion Cherry Devonshire in French Roast. The countertop is Ventia Cream quartz with two rectangular undermount sinks. Ventia Cream quartz is also installed on the tub deck and shower threshold. Moen Brantford light fixtures in oil rubbed bronze. The Moen Wynford collection in oil rubbed bronze includes the faucets, towel bars and paper holder. In the shower is Moen Rothbury shower system in oil rubbed bronze. On the floor is Cava Bianco 122x24 field tile. The shower walls are SW Lab Natural Gloss 3x12 field tile accented with Crystal Shores Copper Coastal lineal tile. On the shower floor is Cava Bianco 2x2 mosaic tile.
