Polished Nickel Vanity Wall Light

We transformed this dull, inner-city bathroom into a modern, atmospheric sanctuary for our male client. We combined a mix of metallic bronze tiling, contemporary fixtures and bespoke, concrete-grey Venetian plaster for an industrial-luxe aesthetic. Down-lit niches and understated decorative elements add a sense of softness and calm to the space.

A few years ago we completed the kitchen renovation on this wonderfully maintained Arts and Crafts home, dating back to the 1930’s. Naturally, we were very pleased to be entrusted with the client’s vision for the renovation of the main bathroom, which was to remain true to its origins, yet encompassing modern touches of today. This was achieved with patterned floor tiles and a pedestal basin. The client selected beautiful tapware from Perrin and Rowe to complement the period. The frameless shower screen, freestanding bath plus the ceramic white wall tile provides an open, bright “feel” we are all looking for in our bathrooms today. Our client also had a passion for Art Deco and personally designed a Shaving Cabinet which Impala created from blackwood veneer. This 1868 Victorian home was transformed to keep the charm of the house but also to bring the bathrooms up to date! We kept the traditional charm and mixed it with some southern charm for this family to enjoy for years to come!

MODERN BATHROOM REMODELING

This simple and elegant en-suite guest bathroom manages to feel luxurious with the vanity unit painted to match the large grey/brown ceramic floor and wall tiles. The pale grey walls allow the room to feel airy and spacious, and the white free standing bath forms the centre piece.

Light and Airy shiplap bathroom was the dream for this hard working couple. The goal was to totally re-create a space that was both beautiful, that made sense functionally and a place to remind the clients of their vacation time. A peaceful oasis. We knew we wanted to use tile that looks like shiplap. A cost effective way to create a timeless look. By cladding the entire tub shower wall it really looks more like real shiplap planked walls. The center point of the room is the new window and two new rustic beams. Centered in the beams is the rustic chandelier.
