This was a very outdated, poorly designed bathroom that we wanted to update with a much more modern, functional design; but keep a bit of a rustic appeal to fit in this comfy country home. We combined a small 1 1/2 bathroom design into a much larger open bathroom. By moving the wet area, we were able to give them a more functional design, with plenty of badly needed storage space. We used a distressed wood look porcelain tile to keep the rustic appeal, while incorporating some cleaner lines and modern features.

A blue tiled bathroom over goes a dramatic makeover when The Right Team modernizes the space with a full gut remodel and replaces the vision of blue with Capuchinno onyx shower surround and vanity top, Kohler fixtures and a red oak wood vanity.

The mosaic tile floor of the powder room is wrapped up onto the steel-clad walls, creating the sense of a surface worn smooth by the passage of water [a primary function in a powder room]. A custom steel frame is used to float the entire vanity and cabinetry off the rear wall, leaving a gap to reinforce the curved wall cascading behind the vanity. [photo by : emoMedia]
