This guest bath detail showcases the dark cherry cabinetry installed with an one inch shadow line below the waterfall counter top treatment. The dark cabinetry and matching mirror are in stark contrast to the simple crisp white vessel sink and recycled glass quartz counter top while the rich taupe of the porcelain wall tile adds warmth and depth to the space. A random mixture of glossy and honed wall tiles allows the recessed lighting in the space to bounce around the room in a playful and unexpected way. Dave Adams Photography

This master bathroom was completely redesigned and relocation of drains and removal and rebuilding of walls was done to complete a new layout. For the entrance barn doors were installed which really give this space the rustic feel. The main feature aside from the entrance is the freestanding tub located in the center of this master suite with a tiled bench built off the the side. The vanity is a Knotty Alder wood cabinet with a driftwood finish from Sollid Cabinetry. The 4" backsplash is a four color blend pebble rock from Emser Tile. The counter top is a remnant from Pental Quartz in "Alpine". The walk in shower features a corner bench and all tile used in this space is a 12x24 pe tuscania laid vertically. The shower also features the Emser Rivera pebble as the shower pan an decorative strip on the shower wall that was used as the backsplash in the vanity area. Photography by Scott Basile

Teal is the operative color here: it's echoed in the overdyed hand knotted Persian rug, glass tile backsplash, velvet ottoman and accent wall. It can also be found in the glass tile barrel vault ceiling, which enlarges this already spacious master bathroom. Design: Wesley-Wayne Interiors Photo: Stephen Karlisch

Luxury bathroom with a 'hotel feeling' in a loft in Antwerp. A moody atmosphere is created with a material palette consisting of black Nero Marquina marble from Spain, dark stained Walnut panelling, concrete flooring and patinated bronze detailing. Bronze detailing is continued in the floor to accentuate the strong lines and geometric shapes. Photo by: Thomas De Bruyne

The low budget, family house project posed a challenge of conveniently arranging multiple rooms in small area. Pre-reconstruction edges of the walls were toned down, in order to conform to the new, minimalistic aesthetics and letting two colors prevail in the interior was also the part of the concept. The white walls and the large mirrors make the space appear sizable. The wooden components of the interior bring an unifying ambience into play. The technical lighting illuminates the rooms without distracting the eye. This wet room shower features a custom Granicrete ceiling, floor, wall, and bench. Our client wanted the walls to look like rusted steel, so we used dyes and stains to get this very unique color palette. Because this room does not use any grout and is fully sealed, the homeowner does not have to worry about mold or mildew. The brick-inspired flooring is mirrored on the bench wall, and the bench top is designed to coordinate with surrounding stone with a chiseled edge. Tom Manitou - Manitou Photography
