The floating custom vanity has motion sensor lighting and a shelf that can be removed if ever needed for a walker or wheelchair. A pocket door with frosted glass for the water closet. Heated floors. a large mirror with integrated lighting.

This contemporary primary bathroom remodel features a sleek and modern design, with clean lines and a neutral color palette. The focal point is the alcove shower, which is constructed with floor-to-ceiling glass walls to create an open and airy feeling. The shower is equipped with a rainfall showerhead and multiple body jets for a spa-like experience. The flooring is textured tile the adds visual interest and slip-resistance. The vanity features a double sink, with plenty of room for storage. The mirror has LED lighting built in so no need for standard vanity lighting. The overall design is minimalistic and functional, making it perfect for a relaxing retreat.

This primary bathroom remodel is part of a major update for a family of four that also included a wet bar and an epic mudroom in the lower level. The existing primary bathroom was outdated and lacked functionality. Design Objectives -Large shower with a bench -Freestanding tub with lumbar support -Ample storage and counter space -Keep an accessible view of the backyard Design Challenges: -Arrangement that maintains an unobstructed view of the wildlife in the backyard -Have the toilet be more private and not in the middle of the room, without closing in the rest of the space -Keeping the bathroom footprint open while incorporating separate vanities, a shower and a freestanding tub Design Solutions: -After reviewing many different floor plan options, we decided on placing the large freestanding tub at a 45-degree angle so the family can walk up to it and still look out the window. -We bumped into the primary bedroom about 4’ to accomplish a large shower without giving up bathroom floorspace. -Since we had both a large shower and a tub in this space there wasn’t quite enough room to fully enclose the toilet area. Instead, we “hid” it in the corner next to a sink vanity. We filled the space across from it with a tall linen cabinet. -Soft white tile on the floor and white painted walls keep this space light and bright while making the footprint feel wide and spacious. The natural light and numerous decorative light fixtures also brighten the space. The angled tub promotes visual flow. Even though this is the primary bathroom, the kids also like to use this space. It is spacious – with the two separate vanities, multiple family members can use this space at the same time.

Serene and inviting, this primary bathroom received a full renovation with new, modern amenities. A custom white oak vanity and low maintenance stone countertop provides a clean and polished space. Handmade tiles combined with soft brass fixtures, creates a luxurious shower for two. The generous, sloped, soaking tub allows for relaxing baths by candlelight. The result is a soft, neutral, timeless bathroom retreat.

Carpet in the bathroom is so last century. Designer Callie Blanks renovated the upstairs bathroom in her A-frame from top to bottom, replacing worn carpet with an attractive pattern of 2x6 Ceramic Tile in French Linen and 6x6 Ceramic Tile in Shetland Wool, both from our budget-friendly Foundations Collection. This little coastal bathroom is full of fun surprises. The NativeTrails shell vessel sink is our star. The blue toned herringbone shower wall tiles are interesting and lovely. The blues bring out the blue chips in the terrazzo flooring which reminds us of a sandy beach. The half glass panel keeps the room feeling spacious and open when bathing. The herringbone pattern on the beachy wood floating vanity connects to the shower pattern. We get a little bling with the copper mirror and vanity hardware. Fun baskets add a tidy look to the open linen closet. A once dark and generic guest bathroom has been transformed into a bright, welcoming, and beachy space that makes a statement.

A 1946 bathroom was in need of a serious update to accommodate 2 growing teen/tween boys. Taking it's cue from the navy and gray in the Moroccan floor tiles, the bath was outfitted with splashes of antique brass/gold fixtures, Art Deco lighting (DecoCreationStudio) and artwork by Space Frog Designs.

We created this colorful bathroom for the daughter, incorporating her favorite colors. This modern tile pattern pairs with a white oak floating vanity. The tile pattern flows up from the floor and is carried up the wall as the backsplash to create a stunning focal wall.
