Master Bathroom Remodel, took a 90's track house bathroom with heavy soffits and L-shaped vanity - and turned it into a Modern Spanish Revival inspired oasis, with two arched openings framing personal vanities with furniture grade details. Iron sconces flank arched dressing mirrors. Custom hand-painted terra-cotta tile backsplash. The shower was expanded and a foot ledge pony wall separates the shower from the space for a freestanding soaking tub. The shower is tiled with an accent of hand-painted terra-cotta tiles, balanced by other budget friendly tiles and materials. Terracotta shower floor and floor tile ground the space with authentic Mediterranean flavor.

This dated home has been massively transformed with modern additions, finishes and fixtures. A full turn key every surface touched. Created a new floor plan of the existing interior of the main house. We exposed the T&G ceilings and captured the height in most areas. The exterior hardscape, windows- siding-roof all new materials. The main building was re-space planned to add a glass dining area wine bar and then also extended to bridge to another existing building to become the main suite with a huge bedroom, main bath and main closet with high ceilings. In addition to the three bedrooms and two bathrooms that were reconfigured. Surrounding the main suite building are new decks and a new elevated pool. These decks then also connected the entire much larger home to the existing - yet transformed pool cottage. The lower level contains 3 garage areas and storage rooms. The sunset views -spectacular of Molokini and West Maui mountains.

Sweeney Design Remodel
Without changing the master bath footprint, the size of the room felt more spacious by removing the soffit above the existing vanity. The dated cabinets were replaced with custom new cabinets made from walnut with front slab drawers and finished in a deep rich stain. A custom makeup vanity was added to the space and finished in the same beautiful color— complete with a flip-top mirror, electrical outlets, and built-in lighting. Cambria Quartz countertops, modern fixtures, wood-wrapped mirrors, perfectly placed contemporary sconces and a large porcelain tile backsplash complete the look. Last but not least, the spa-inspired shower was designed with tile, Kohler Devonshire & Purist shower fixtures, dual shower niches, and a built-in shower seat. In addition, the old carpet was removed and replaced with Amalfi 12’x24′ stone tile in a ‘Bianco Scala’ color.

Double showers are the main feature in this expansive master bathroom. The original shower included double showers but was closed off with 2 waist height walls of tile. Taking down the walls, squaring up the design and installing a full-length glass enclosure, creates more space visually and opens up the shower to more light.
Delta fixtures in Venetian Bronze finish are installed throughout. A spacious bench was installed for added comfort and double hand showers make showering a luxurious experience. 6"x6" porcelain Barcelona Collection tiles add a design element inside the upper portion of the shower walls and in the wall niche.
Liking the look of wood but not caring for the maintenance that real wood requires, these homeowner's opted to have 8"x48" Scrapwood Wind porcelain tiles installed instead. New Waypoint vanities in Cherry Slate finish and Sienna Bordeaux Granit tops provide a rich component in the room and are accessorized with Jeffrey Alexander Regency pulls that have a delicate antique brushed satin brass design.
An added key feature in this master bathroom is a newly installed door that conveniently leads out to their beautiful back yard pool just a few steps away.

The oversized Vanity Art freestanding soaking bathtub features a Pulse floor-mounted tub filler with a built-in diverter and hand-held shower in brushed nickel. The large glass-enclosed shower is lined with Daltile Magnitude Origami White ceramic tile. The floor of the shower includes large 12×24 tiles to match the bathroom floor tile size giving the homeowner fewer grout lines to clean while still having a beautiful tile shower floor. A convenient niche is designed into the shower perfect for holding shampoo bottles and soap. The dual stainless steel shower heads from Delta provide a spa-quality experience.
Gayler Design Build
The objective of these Danville homeowners was to update their primary bathroom, making more efficient use of their existing space without moving any plumbing. With the desired tub and tub filler in mind, Gayler shopped the country to find what the homeowners wanted. Their old soaking tub took up a lot of room, so it was replaced with a new freestanding tub retrofitted with a polished gold tub filler coming up from the floor.
Two large single vanities in a dark stain are topped with white Statuario polished Pental quartz countertops and backsplash. Completing the look is unique polished gold hardware and a large, walk-in shower with a beautiful mosaic feature wall and shower niche. Large wide plank tile floors and soft gray and white patterned wallpaper complete the look.

When your primary bathroom isn't large, it's so important to address the storage needs. By taking out the built in tub, and adding in a freestanding tub, we were able to gain some length for our vanity. We removed the dropped soffit over the mirrors and in the shower to increase visual space and take advantage of the vaulted ceiling. Interest was added by mixing the finish of the fixtures. The shower and tub fixtures are Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass, and the faucets and all accessories are matte black. We used a patterned floor to create interest and a large format (24" x 48") tile to visually enlarge the shower. This primary bath is a mix of cools and warms and is now a high functioning space for the owners.
