This project was a joy to work on, as we married our firm’s modern design aesthetic with the client’s more traditional and rustic taste. We gave new life to all three bathrooms in her home, making better use of the space in the powder bathroom, optimizing the layout for a brother & sister to share a hall bath, and updating the primary bathroom with a large curbless walk-in shower and luxurious clawfoot tub. Though each bathroom has its own personality, we kept the palette cohesive throughout all three.

The master bath design created for this Yardley, PA home is a dream come true. Every detail of this design combines to create a space that is highly function and stylish, while also feeling like a relaxing retreat from daily life. The combination of a Victoria + Albert freestanding tub with the Isenberg waterfall tub filler faucet is sure to be a favorite spot for a soothing stress reliever. If you prefer to relax in the shower, the large, walk-in shower has everything you need. The frameless glass door leads into a large, corner shower complete with MSI hexagonal mosaic shower floor, recessed storage niche, and corner shelf. This Project was so fun, the client was a dream to work with. So open to new ideas. Since this is on a canal the coastal theme was prefect for the client. We gutted both bathrooms. The master bath was a complete waste of space, a huge tub took much of the room. So we removed that and shower which was all strange angles. By combining the tub and shower into a wet room we were able to do 2 large separate vanities and still had room to space. The guest bath received a new coastal look as well which included a better functioning shower.

Master bathroom on the second floor is soft and serene with white and grey marble tiling throughout. Large format wall tiles coordinate with the smaller hexagon floor tiles and beautiful mosaic tile accent wall above the vanity area.

This spacious primary bathroom transformed from drab and dark to a refreshed, bright bathroom. Simply removing the dropped ceiling and fluorescent lights from the vanity area and replacing them with modern recessed can light brought this bathroom back to life. The carpet that once draped the floor was replaced by a gray wood-like vinyl plank which transitioned beautifully to the calcatta tiled shower. The dated vanity that once housed two sinks was updated to white custom-made cabinetry topped with a white with subtle veining Arabescato quartz countertop. A linen closet replaced the second vanity sink, providing ample storage space. Polished nickel finishes repeat about from the Hydrorail shower fixtures to the sink faucets. Two contemporary sconce lights a stylish mirror balance and adorns the focal wall. To create harmony within the bathroom and the rest of the house, we kept contrast to a minimum, using hints of color to create accents.
