With a touch of glamour and a nod to historical European design, this stunning master bathroom remodel is the culmination of years of dreaming for this client who had meticulously researched and planned nearly every design detail she wanted to incorporate. Each element has a significance behind it and underscores the passion our client has for the Classicism period of design and we were honored to bring her vision to life. From the crown molding and fluted pilasters, to the Schonbek chandelier and sconces with Swarovski crystals, and subtle “aging in place” details that the untrained eye would never know were there, every inch of this beautiful space was designed with careful thought and love.

The large master shower includes a built in tile bench seat, two shower heads (one hand held and one rain head), and tile storage shelves.

Another view of the 2nd floor bath. All of the original tile remains. Note the nice tile around the bathtub. The only thing changed in this picture was the bathtub was re-glazed, new shower controls were installed, there is a new shower rod and curtain, and the toilet was replaced. Master bath remodel completed in a 1922 Montgomery Ward kit house. Attention to detail was critical in maintaining the original character and charm of this space. Original building materials were reused to make the towel bar and floating shelves. A custom radiator cover and hutch unit were installed to fit the space perfectly; as if they've been there since 1922.
