Simple clean design...in this master bathroom renovation things were kept in the same place but in a very different interpretation. The shower is where the exiting one was, but the walls surrounding it were taken out, a curbless floor was installed with a sleek tile-over linear drain that really goes away. A free-standing bathtub is in the same location that the original drop in whirlpool tub lived prior to the renovation. The result is a clean, contemporary design with some interesting "bling" effects like the bubble chandelier and the mirror rounds mosaic tile located in the back of the niche.

While compact, this marbled master bath is bright and functional. Keeping the floor level continuous as it extends to the shower slot drain helps make the area feel larger. The frameless glass, floating vanity, wall-hung toilet, and perimeter lit medicine cabinet also keep it light and modern.

Our designers transformed this master bathroom into an beautiful, multifunction space. The coordinating quartz countertop and floor create an unusually elegant look and spacious feel in this modest-size corner bathroom. The make-up counter is positioned in between the two sicks, for ease and elegance.

With a touch of glamour and a nod to historical European design, this stunning master bathroom remodel is the culmination of years of dreaming for this client who had meticulously researched and planned nearly every design detail she wanted to incorporate. Each element has a significance behind it and underscores the passion our client has for the Classicism period of design and we were honored to bring her vision to life. From the crown molding and fluted pilasters, to the Schonbek chandelier and sconces with Swarovski crystals, and subtle “aging in place” details that the untrained eye would never know were there, every inch of this beautiful space was designed with careful thought and love.

A sunny and bright bathroom.

A classic blue and white color scheme with a modern twist! Large blue subway tiles are paired with marble looking hexagon porcelain tiles. The seamless shower makes bathing easily accessible. The large niche and floating shelf add lots of storage space. The freestanding vanity features under cabinet lighting, coupled with a round mirror and stunning blue vessel sink, creates a modern feel to a classic bathroom. Photo by Melissa Au

Old California Mission Style home remodeled from funky 1970's cottage with no style. Now this looks like a real old world home that fits right into the Ojai, California landscape. Handmade custom sized terra cotta tiles throughout, with dark stain and wax makes for a worn, used and real live texture from long ago. Wrought iron Spanish lighting, new glass doors and wood windows to capture the light and bright valley sun. The owners are from India, so we incorporated Indian designs and antiques where possible. An outdoor shower, and an outdoor hallway are new additions, along with the olive tree, craned in over the new roof. A courtyard with Spanish style outdoor fireplace with Indian overtones border the exterior of the courtyard. Distressed, stained and glazed ceiling beams, handmade doors and cabinetry help give an old world feel.

Ensuite Bathroom

In this space the classical elements were acknowledged through the use of classic handles, white subway tiles on the walls and black patterned tiles to the floor.
