We created a massive double shower with long bench and Pella clerestory window which frames the towering oak trees beyond. The steel gridscape showe door and panels speak to the windows. We clad the walls in a porcelain marble-like porcelain and the floors in the same porcelain but with a honed finish.

Custom bathroom cabinetry with beautiful dual sink vanity.

The goal of this bath was to create a spa-like feel. Opting for the dominant color of white accented by sage green contributed to the successful outcome. A 54” white vanity with double sinks topped with Carrera marble continued the monochromatic color scheme. The Eva collection of Moen brand fixtures in a brushed nickel finish were selected for the faucet, towel ring, paper holder, and towel bars. Double bands of glass mosaic tile and niche backing accented the 3x6 Brennero Carrera tile on the shower walls. A Moentrol valve faucet was installed in the shower in order to have force and flow balance.

The warm wood vanity with a tower provides lots of storage space. The design is simple and stylish.

The Kelso's Bathroom showcases a stylish and contemporary design with a touch of elegance. The black bathroom faucet and black cabinet and drawer hardware add a sleek and sophisticated accent to the space. The gray penny tile backsplash and gray subway tile shower create a visually appealing backdrop, adding texture and depth to the overall design. Light wood cabinets provide a warm and natural element, balancing the darker accents in the room. A beautiful pink orchid adds a pop of color and a touch of freshness to the space. The white quartz countertop offers a clean and polished surface, complementing the overall color scheme. The combination of these elements creates a harmonious and inviting atmosphere in the Kelso's Bathroom, making it a serene and stylish retreat.

This bathroom was designed for specifically for my clients’ overnight guests. My clients felt their previous bathroom was too light and sparse looking and asked for a more intimate and moodier look. The mirror, tapware and bathroom fixtures have all been chosen for their soft gradual curves which create a flow on effect to each other, even the tiles were chosen for their flowy patterns. The smoked bronze lighting, door hardware, including doorstops were specified to work with the gun metal tapware. A 2-metre row of deep storage drawers’ float above the floor, these are stained in a custom inky blue colour – the interiors are done in Indian Ink Melamine. The existing entrance door has also been stained in the same dark blue timber stain to give a continuous and purposeful look to the room. A moody and textural material pallet was specified, this made up of dark burnished metal look porcelain tiles, a lighter grey rock salt porcelain tile which were specified to flow from the hallway into the bathroom and up the back wall. A wall has been designed to divide the toilet and the vanity and create a more private area for the toilet so its dominance in the room is minimised - the focal areas are the large shower at the end of the room bath and vanity. The freestanding bath has its own tumbled natural limestone stone wall with a long-recessed shelving niche behind the bath - smooth tiles for the internal surrounds which are mitred to the rough outer tiles all carefully planned to ensure the best and most practical solution was achieved. The vanity top is also a feature element, made in Bengal black stone with specially designed grooves creating a rock edge.

Nach der Umgestaltung entsteht ein barrierefreies Bad mit großformatigen Natursteinfliesen in Kombination mit einer warmen Holzfliese am Boden und einer hinterleuchteten Spanndecke. Besonders im Duschbereich gibt es durch die raumhohen Fliesen fast keine Fugen. Die Dusche kann mit 2 Flügeltüren großzügig breit geöffnet werden und ist so konzipiert, dass sie auch mit einem Rollstuhl befahren werden kann.
