Bedwardine Road is our epic renovation and extension of a vast Victorian villa in Crystal Palace, south-east London. Traditional architectural details such as flat brick arches and a denticulated brickwork entablature on the rear elevation counterbalance a kitchen that feels like a New York loft, complete with a polished concrete floor, underfloor heating and floor to ceiling Crittall windows. Interiors details include as a hidden “jib” door that provides access to a dressing room and theatre lights in the master bathroom.

The small ensuite packs a punch for a small space. From a double wash plane basin with cabinetry underneath to grey terrrazo tiles and black tapware. Double ceiling shower heads gave this room a dual purpose and the mirrored shaving cabinets enhance the sense of space in this room.

The vanity takes center stage in this lower level guest bath. The high sheen laquer wood adds drama to an otherwise neutral space and is accentuated with a glass mosaic backspash and wall mounted faucet. Bright white walls and soft grey floor tiles help soften the space.

New mosaic tile, installed vertically, along with a custom wood slat shower floor, add warmth this modern steam shower, with high ceilings and skylights above.

This home features concrete interior and exterior walls, giving it a chic modern look. The Interior concrete walls were given a wood texture giving it a one of a kind look. We are responsible for all concrete work seen. This includes the entire concrete structure of the home, including the interior walls, stairs and fire places. We are also responsible for the structural concrete and the installation of custom concrete caissons into bed rock to ensure a solid foundation as this home sits over the water. All interior furnishing was done by a professional after we completed the construction of the home.
