The client wanted a bright room with lots of colour. The peacock blue and bright green pop against the white background tiles. A tall recessed cabinet on the adjacent wall allows for storage of toiletries. The large mirror helps to increase the perception of space as does the walk-in shower. The mosaic tiles in the niche match the bright laminate doors and drawer fronts with the adjacent laundry repeating the same colour scheme.

Pink, aqua and purple are colours they both love, and had already been incorporated into their existing decor, so we used those colours as the starting point and went from there.
In the bathroom, the Victorian walls are high and the natural light levels low. The many small rooms were demolished and one larger open plan space created. The pink terrazzo tiling unites the room and makes the bathroom space feel more inviting and less cavernous. ‘Fins’ are used to define the functional spaces (toilet, laundry, vanity, shower). They also provide an architectural detail to tie in the Victorian window and ceiling heights with the 80s extension that is just a step outside the bathroom.

Пиксельные стены выложены из серо-белой мозаики. Квадраты и прямоугольники шкафов задают цвет в помещении.

The owners of this Victorian terrace were recently retired and wanted to update their home so that they could continue to live there well into their retirement, so much of the work was focused on future proofing and making rooms more functional and accessible for them. We replaced the kitchen and bathroom, updated the bedroom and redecorated the rest of the house.

After
The bathroom makeover at the Abbotsford Project included replacement wall cabinetry in the same colour finishes as the kitchen, delivering a welcoming change from the previous tired white space. The dual white stone basin, custom mirror and heated towel rail has provided the new tenants a functional bathroom and laundry space to enjoy.

A stunning large family bathroom. The Utopia Sea Green wall hung units look great with the Laufen vessel basins and wall mounted taps.
The walk in shower is a nice big space for a long shower. The back wall was recessed out so there is a shelf and a seating area. This is great for putting bottles etc whilst you shower. The grab handle is a great safety accessory which is extremely popular. Above tyhe wall hung toilet is a recess for ornaments etc. A lovely touch! Mosaic tiles are a great feature in this bathroom and ties everything together beautifully.
