We have access to custom furniture, we specialize in art procurement, and and we also use pieces from Val’s high-end lighting company, No Ordinary Light.

Ambiance végétale pour la salle de bains de 6m². Ici, le blanc se marie à merveille avec toutes les nuances de verts… des verts doux et tendres pour créer une atmosphère fraîche et apaisante, propice à la détente. Et pour réchauffer tout ça, rien de tel que le bois clair, à la fois chaleureux et lumineux. Nous avons préféré plutôt des meubles simples, en un bloc, sans fantaisie, pour un sentiment d'espace très agréable. La touche finale ? Un panneau décoratif aux motifs végétaux dans la douche / baignoire avec l’avantage de limiter le nombre de joints par rapport à des carreaux de carrelage, c’est donc plus facile à entretenir ! Et nous avons ajouté des roseaux artificiels mis en valeur dans de jolis paniers en osier.

Le défi était de taille : faire entrer une baignoire dans une salle de bain de 2,48m2 avec un mur en demi-cercle ! L’objectif était d’utiliser de beaux matériaux et de créer de l’harmonie dans cette salle de bain. Tout a été retiré (WC, douche, vasque) pour créer une salle de bain fonctionnelle et esthétique.

ON-TREND SCALES Move over metro tiles and line a wall with fabulously funky Fish Scale designs. Sofia Provides a Colorful Ground for an LA Bathroom

Our client Alexandra Becket got her start as a textile designer and has had her wall hangings, paintings and home accessories shown at galleries around her LA hometown. In 2010 she and her husband, Greg Steinberg launched ModOp Design, a home renovation company. A recent project is near and dear to them—their own home in the the Beverly Grove area of LA. It’s near and dear to us at Granada Tile, too—they covered a bathroom floor in cement tile in our Echo Collection’s Sofia pattern. Our clients wanted to add on to their 1950's ranch house, but weren't sure whether to go up or out. We convinced them to go out, adding a Primary Suite addition with bathroom, walk-in closet, and spacious Bedroom with vaulted ceiling. To connect the addition with the main house, we provided plenty of light and a built-in bookshelf with detailed pendant at the end of the hall. The clients' style was decidedly peaceful, so we created a wet-room with green glass tile, a door to a small private garden, and a large fir slider door from the bedroom to a spacious deck. We also used Yakisugi siding on the exterior, adding depth and warmth to the addition. Our clients love using the tub while looking out on their private paradise!

(It’s also the most budget-friendly option in terms of plumbing). Maybe separate rooms for toilet and shower make sense? Maybe you want to work with a window above a bathtub or in the shower. You may live in an old house where you can keep some of the original character of the home, or you may be working with a small apartment space. 2 Consider How You Use Your Bathroom
