Transitional Subway Shower tile Bathroom remodel w/Mexico stain cabinets

This bathroom remodel was designed by Myste from our Windham showroom. This remodel features Swanstone 3x6 subway tile style that has an open shelf. This remodel also features chrome plumbing fixtures and white rectangle undermount sink. Other features include Cabico Essence Vanity, matching mirror, toilet topper and slim linen cabinets with Galao door style (recessed panel) and Mexico (dark brown) stain finish. The countertop is a granite countertop with Bianco Ariana color and standard round edge. The pulls are from the Candler collection and the knobs are from Aberthany collection both are from Amerock Hardware.

Over the last 150 years, the back door of this handsome late Greek Revival/early Victorian house had somehow become the main entrance. A door off a narrow farmer’s porch opened into a small hallway with a tiny closet. We fixed the problem with a small addition in the style of the original house. A gabled porch with turned columns announces the new entry. Inside the door is a comfortable entrance hall with an arched doorway leading into the house. To the right of the door, a new mudroom filled with built-in storage including many drawers and shelves and lockers for all members of the family. Upstairs, a bright new master bath fills the space under the new gables of the addition. Behind the bath, a once cramped closet was expanded into a walk-through dressing room.

Luscious Bathroom in Storrington, West Sussex A luscious green bathroom design is complemented by matt black accents and unique platform for a feature bath. The Brief The aim of this project was to transform a former bedroom into a contemporary family bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower and freestanding bath. This Storrington client had some strong design ideas, favouring a green theme with contemporary additions to modernise the space. Storage was also a key design element. To help minimise clutter and create space for decorative items an inventive solution was required. Design Elements The design utilises some key desirables from the client as well as some clever suggestions from our bathroom designer Martin. The green theme has been deployed spectacularly, with metro tiles utilised as a strong accent within the shower area and multiple storage niches. All other walls make use of neutral matt white tiles at half height, with William Morris wallpaper used as a leafy and natural addition to the space. A freestanding bath has been placed central to the window as a focal point. The bathing area is raised to create separation within the room, and three pendant lights fitted above help to create a relaxing ambience for bathing. Special Inclusions Storage was an important part of the design. A wall hung storage unit has been chosen in a Fjord Green Gloss finish, which works well with green tiling and the wallpaper choice. Elsewhere plenty of storage niches feature within the room. These add storage for everyday essentials, decorative items, and conceal items the client may not want on display. A sizeable walk-in shower was also required as part of the renovation, with designer Martin opting for a Crosswater enclosure in a matt black finish. The matt black finish teams well with other accents in the room like the Vado brassware and Eastbrook towel rail. Project Highlight The platformed bathing area is a great highlight of this family bathroom space. It delivers upon the freestanding bath requirement of the brief, with soothing lighting additions that elevate the design. Wood-effect porcelain floor tiling adds an additional natural element to this renovation. The End Result The end result is a complete transformation from the former bedroom that utilised this space. The client and our designer Martin have combined multiple great finishes and design ideas to create a dramatic and contemporary, yet functional, family bathroom space. Embracing Modern Rustic Charm in Shamong

This remodel began as a powder bathroom and hall bathroom project, giving the powder bath a beautiful shaker style wainscoting and completely remodeling the second-floor hall bath. The second-floor hall bathroom features a mosaic tile accent, subway tile used for the entire shower, brushed nickel finishes, and a beautiful dark grey stained vanity with a quartz countertop. Once the powder bath and hall bathroom was complete, the homeowner decided to immediately pursue the master bathroom, creating a stunning, relaxing space. The master bathroom received the same styled wainscotting as the powder bath, as well as a free-standing tub, oil-rubbed bronze finishes, and porcelain tile flooring.

Ensure no-one will slip and hurt themselves, and consider that many little tiles will make for many little nooks for grime to accumulate, whereas big surfaces like a sink that is integrated with the vanity counter, or a big mirror will make wiping down the surface much easier than having sinks sitting on top or an intricately designed mirror.
