This custom home is part of the Carillon Place infill development across from Byrd Park in Richmond, VA. The home has four bedrooms, three full baths, one half bath, custom kitchen with waterfall island, full butler's pantry, gas fireplace, third floor media room, and two car garage. The first floor porch and second story balcony on this corner lot have expansive views of Byrd Park and the Carillon.

This urban and contemporary style bathroom was designed with simplicity and functionality in mind. The cool tones of this bathroom are accented by the glass mosaic accent tiles in the shower, bright white subway tiles, and bleached, light, wood grain porcelain floor planks.

Added a bench with its own control and hand-held shower wand. The standing area is roomy and separated by a glass block wall to allow in light.

This beautiful secondary bathroom is a welcoming space that will spoil and comfort any guest. The 8x8 decorative Nola Orleans tile is the focal point of the room and creates movement in the design. The 3x12 cotton white subway tile and deep white Kohler tub provide a clean backdrop to allow the flooring to take center stage, while making the room appear spacious. A shaker style vanity in Harbor finish and shadow storm vanity top elevate the space and Kohler chrome fixtures throughout add a perfect touch of sparkle. We love the mirror that was chosen by our client which compliments the floor pattern and ties the design perfectly together in an elegant way. You don’t have to feel limited when it comes to the design of your secondary bathroom. Linear, straight stacked large format, marble-look tile is carried throughout the bath, which also features a walk-through seamless glass shower, Mercury Gray gloss cabinetry with Cambria “Montgomery” Countertops.

This timeless design features beautiful faux marble floors from Eleganza Tile and a soaking bathtub from Signature Hardware that was designed specifically for leaning back and taking those long relaxing soaks after a hard day. We took out what was previously dark and closed in the shower and instead opened up space with the clean look of a glass enclosure.

Nancy Knickerbocker of Reico Kitchen and Bath in Southern Pines, NC designed a primary bathroom featuring Merillat Masterpiece cabinetry’s Gannon door style in Evercore with a Moonshine finish. Selections for bathroom include Silestone Quartz in a Pearl Jasmine finish vanity countertops along with fixtures and accessories from Kohler and Moen. The shower features 12x24 and 2x2 Bakersfield Pumice floor tile, shower floor tile and 10x12 Bianco shower wall tile. The client emphasized Nancy's pivotal role in the remodel's success. "She was respectful of our budget, our needs (more handicap-friendly and storage space, fewer doors) and was knowledgeable about what was and wasn’t doable in our situation. Her excellent design suggestions took into consideration our choices for cabinets, fixtures, countertops, flooring and etc. She was interested and always available to help throughout the entire project," said the client. Nancy highlighted the bathroom's outdated features from the era of the garden tub. "The homeowner wanted to add storage, enlarge the shower and overall update the bathroom. By removing the tub, we added a cabinet with two roll-out shelves, a trash cabinet, and laundry hamper cabinet. Kohler mirrored medicine cabinets added personal storage above the sinks. To allow easier access to the bathroom, the entry door was widened. As a result, the vanity needed to be reduced to 18” deep." "The Kohler Veticyl 13” square sink was the perfect choice for the limited space! The shower insert was replaced with a tile shower, a glass panel and large door. We also removed the water closet door and reduced the height of the wall. There is still privacy and allows for easier access to the area.
