Clients envisioned having their favorite spa in their own home. We worked together to create this spa-like retreat off their master bedroom including a steam shower with heated floor, bench and walls, a deep soaking tub with an automated privacy shade that rises up from the window sill, vanity counter, recessed mirrored cabinets and private toilet room with a bidet.

The lime-plastered walls exude vintage allure,
Transforming the bathroom to rustic Moroccan pure.
Raw and natural, its beauty is sublime,
With wooden vanity and cane shutters, playful in time.
Rustic copper tiles, worn out and aged,
Add old charm, as if history's been engaged.
Captivating and unique, this sanctuary stands,
A blend of cultures, where elegance expands.

Closer view of the Vintage Granite countertops with the beautiful veining throughout. We can also see the brushed Sterling Limestone, used for the shower walls, wainscoting and flooring. We have a mini brick and marble mosaic, Madison, for the accent borders. Finishing the accent borders is a pencil liner in the same brushed Sterling Limestone.

Originally a library off the upstairs Master Bedroom, we added a luxurious Master Bathroom in its place. Light marble tile, clean white walls, and very light limestone in the shower combine for an elegant, chic bathroom. A freestanding tub in front of the shower fill in what would otherwise have been a bare floor. A long window in the shower gives a sneak peek of the view available in the bathroom, and a long shelf below echoes the design. Overhead shower fixtures serve two and a full glass enclosure keep the bathroom feeling open and spacious. We kept the existing spiral staircase which leads to a reading area above.

This bathroom remodel was featured on Season 3 of House Hunters Renovation. Clients Alex and Fiona. We completely gutted the initial layout of the space which was cramped and compartmentalized. We opened up with space to one large open room. Adding (2) windows to the backyard allowed for a beautiful view to the newly landscaped space and filled the room with light. The floor tile is a vein cut travertine. The vanity is from James Martin and the counter and splash were made locally with a custom curve to match the mirror shape. We finished the look with a gray teal paint called Rain and soft window valances.
