The Palette for the Guest Bathroom is Dark Teals & Greens with pops of Blood Red to accessorise, incorporating Bold Vintage Poster Prints. In the small space we still managed to fit in a 'wet room' style shower and freestanding bath.

This 1956 John Calder Mackay home had been poorly renovated in years past. We kept the 1400 sqft footprint of the home, but re-oriented and re-imagined the bland white kitchen to a midcentury olive green kitchen that opened up the sight lines to the wall of glass facing the rear yard. We chose materials that felt authentic and appropriate for the house: handmade glazed ceramics, bricks inspired by the California coast, natural white oaks heavy in grain, and honed marbles in complementary hues to the earth tones we peppered throughout the hard and soft finishes. This project was featured in the Wall Street Journal in April 2022.

A custom made furniture vanity of white oak feels at home at the beach. This cottage is more formal, so we added brass caps to the legs to elevate it. This is further accomplished by the custom stone bonnet backsplash, copper vessel sink, and wall mounted faucet. With storage lost in this open vanity, the niche bookcase (pictured previously) is of the upmost importance.

Updated and remodeled bathroom made to be the ultimate in luxury and amenities using all the space that was available. Top-of-the-line fixtures and materials were used. Located within a circa 1900 Victorian home in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington DC, this elegantly renovated bathroom offers a soothing respite for guests. Features include a furniture style vanity, coordinating medicine cabinet from Rejuvenation, a custom corner shower with diamond patterned tiles, and a clawfoot tub situated under niches clad in waterjet marble and glass mosaics.
