Arts and Crafts meets Mid Century interior design with this completed bathroom renovation in Neutral Bay NSW. This bathroom features brushed bronze tapware, a quartz benchtop and statement marble mosaic wall tiles.

The primary bathroom’s grounding charcoal palette contributes to a spa like experience. The Pietra Grey marble used in the shower and vanity carries over into the window casings. A steam shower custom designed with Pietra Grey marble features a folding teak bench to maximize space when not in use. Rounded edges soften the look and nod to the arched windows and doorways.

La Costa Cabinets & Design
This coastal inspired bathroom hits the reset button in a fresh and modern way. Out with the travertine and white tile countertops, in with white, light greys and blues, complimented by beautiful bamboo wood tones. A mosaic leaf tile glitters as the backsplash and accent niche areas. Swaths of marble like large format tile wrap the shower and tub area. Stainless steel fixtures, frameless glass enclosure, and a crystal chandelier reflect light around the room.

When we took on this renovation, there was a strange, elongated walk-in-shower. Since this bathroom was shared between 2 bedrooms, we suggested partitioning the odd shower and using the space to add a bathtub and a nice, large closet to make better use of the space.

This bathroom was created with the tagline "simple luxury" in mind. Each detail was chosen with this and daily function in mind. Ample storage was created with two 60" vanities and a 24" central makeup vanity. The beautiful clouds wallpaper creates a relaxing atmosphere while also adding dimension and interest to a neutral space. The tall, beautiful brass mirrors and wall sconces add warmth and a timeless feel. The marigold velvet stool is a gorgeous happy pop that greets the homeowners each morning.

This Australian-inspired new construction was a successful collaboration between homeowner, architect, designer and builder. The home features a Henrybuilt kitchen, butler's pantry, private home office, guest suite, master suite, entry foyer with concealed entrances to the powder bathroom and coat closet, hidden play loft, and full front and back landscaping with swimming pool and pool house/ADU.
