2007 HOBI Award for Best Bathroom Remodel $100-150k

A New York City master bathroom featuring creative combinations of unique tile and mosaic. Shower Walls: Metal Collection - Alumenia Series - 12" x 12" using 100% Recycled Aluminum with a Mirror Finish. Bathroom Floor: Custom mosaic Pattern - Pantheon in Honed finish using Crema Macon Limestone, Prato Grigio Travertine & Newbury Limestone.

At the far end of the bath is a tri-part vignette of bench, shelf, and photo set against a pristine white leather background. The Cubist-like bench, made of leather, lucite, and nickel minis the linear geometry of the room and the leather tile against which it is placed. The elegantly poised shelf directly above floats on the white leather wall. As a final homage to detail are the suspended towel rail, handheld mirrors, and Pill medicine cabinet - all distinguished by their unique design ingenuity.

It's hard to believe that we reduced the size of this bathroom from its original. (walking time to the sink was reduced by almost 5 minutes :) Thus allowing the construction of a second walk in closet. The custom lazer cut tiles echo the round ensuite foyer and create water ripples on the floor. Photo: Roger Yip

A bathroom full of femininity with its purple hued wallcovering, marble floors and walls, floral tissue holder, and soap dispenser, and lights on both sides of the bathroom mirror. A loft conversion in the Holland Park conservation area in west London, adding 55 sq.m. (592 sq. ft.) of mansard roof space, including two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a Living Room, to an existing flat. The structural timber roof was exposed and treated with limewash.
