Luxury bathrooms and kitchens have taken on a new trend with gold fixtures, but with a modern twist. The days of boring, old polished brass are long gone! The once shining jewel of yesteryear has now been updated with more designer and decorative shades and textures, each with their own unique descriptive name.

To maintain matrimonial harmony, it was time to transform the primary bathroom into a room built for two with two sinks being at the top of the needs list (the original sink and dinky mirror were located between the two exterior windows). Finishes throughout were also ready for an update. The bathroom was gutted which provided an opportunity to open up the cave like shower and install the much-desired dual sinks and bidet toilet. The challenge was how to place mirrors and lighting for each sink which were centered on the exterior windows. The exterior wall framing, and the windows prohibited the placement of both a light fixture and a mirror above the sink(s). To remedy this issue, the casing on either side of the window was removed and wiring for lights was installed. The casing was bored to allow the wiring to run through to the surface mounted Twiggy LED lights (by Edge Lighting) which are hinged to allow the user to move the lights in for full illumination of the face. The mirrors, in frames to match the cabinetry, where then mounted on a barn door track installed above the window frame. The mirrors not only clear the Twiggy lights but can be moved to the left of their original location to allow the natural light from the windows to pour through. To round out the new design, more and better organized storage and a rear grooming mirror were incorporated in this small, narrow bathroom.

In this project the owner wanted to have a space for him and his wife to age into or be able to sell to anyone in any stage of their lives.

Our installer removed the existing unit to get the area ready for the installation of shower and replacing old bathtub with a shower by putting a new shower base into position while keeping the existing footprint intact then Establishing a proper foundation and make sure the walls are prepped with the utmost care prior to installation. Our stylish and seamless watertight walls go up easily in the hands of our seasoned professionals. High-quality tempered glass doors in the style are installed next, as well as all additional accessories the customer wanted. The job is done, and customers left with a new shower and a smile!

Master bathroom w/ freestanding soaking tub

This was a large remodel in a small space! We brought in more natural light by removing the toilet wall and door. We replaced the tub with a custom floor to ceiling shower and a 70" tall custom shower niche! Hello Costco shampoo bottles! We also installed grey glass subway tile all the way to the vaulted ceiling. New floor tile and trim throughout the space. This was a fun project!
