Note countertop installation detail - veining flows beautifully from one surface to another...all the way to the backsplash. mixing vintage fixtures, with a more whimsical wallpaper, offers an uplifting, transitional feel to the space.

All new Jack & Jill Bath between guest bedroom and child's bedroom, with separate toilet and shower/tub room opposite the double vanity wall. Again, neutral white-and-light-aqua interplay of the ceramic and quartz countertop colors with wallpaper and clever lighting choices. Yes, it looks like we really can we say "White", "Classic", and Timeless" again and again here. Dark original hall-entry bath is now a roomy and functional bright space. The thoughtful mix of patterns make this an airy and very practical upgrade to an Old School upstairs hall bath, Simple choices and -- once again -- very limited colors and shapes unify the space and keep it classic and timeless. Fun detail: turquoise-accented drawer pulls are playful and a sweet vintage touch.

This high-end primary bath remodel incorporated rare pink marble into all aspects of the project. Fixture locations did not change in the design, exterior walls were insulated. Basic architectural components like the shower arch were retained in this superb design by Liz Schupanitz with masterful tile installation by Hohn & Hohn. Cabinets by Frost Cabinets. This lovely bathroom played with a contrasting black and white theme. The fan-like tiles, used in both black and white were incorporated in both the tub area and in an ingenious niche created to accommodate the vanity and allow for more floor space.

We were able to save this 1950s tub by having it refinished, keeping with the personality of the home. The shower rod above was also re-chromed to keep with the original feel of the space. A combination of three canvas finish tiles were installed on the wall to add textural interest, yet saty with a neutral color palette to ensure longevity of design asthetic.
Chi Renovation & Design
A simple but beautiful bathroom we designed, perfect for Airbnb guests! Clean and contemporary with just a dash of wall decor complemented by a stunning gold-framed mirror. Due to the size of this space, we kept the vanity slim and sleek and the floors, tiling, and vanity a refreshing white color. The upper walls are painted in the same dark charcoal gray as the rest of the home.
Designed by Chi Renovation & Design who serve Chicago and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. You'll find their work from the Loop through Lincoln Park, Skokie, Wilmette, and all the way up to Lake Forest.

Initially, we were tasked with improving the façade of this grand old Colonial Revival home. We researched the period and local details so that new work would be appropriate and seamless. The project included new front stairs and trellis, a reconfigured front entry to bring it back to its original state, rebuilding of the driveway, and new landscaping. We later did a full interior remodel to bring back the original beauty of the home and expand into the attic.
