This family’s second home was designed to reflect their love of the beach and easy weekend living. Low maintenance materials were used so their time here could be focused on fun and not on worrying about or caring for high maintenance elements. A basement, transformed Leather, French nail heads, and a rich paint, add texture and warmth to this very large basement room. The homeowners wanted a Billiards room, but didn't know where to begin.

The bathroom floors included a stone medallion consisting of three marbles Bianco Dolomitti, Crema Marfil, and Amarillo Negras. The tub and skirt were composed of Crema Marfil while Bianco Dolomiti was used for the soap niches on the walls. Stone Fabricated and Installed by Natural Stone Institute member, SMG Stone Company, Inc.

My clients often like to be a little whimsical in their powder rooms. These space are small, and people don’t spend much time in them, so it feels “safe” to choose patterns and colors that you might not for main living areas.
