The Master Bathroom was completely re-done. New porcelain tile flooring and a folding door by La Catina.

Keeping the integrity of the existing style is important to us — and this Rio Del Mar cabin remodel is a perfect example of that. For this special bathroom update, we preserved the essence of the original lathe and plaster walls by using a nickel gap wall treatment. The decorative floor tile and a pebbled shower call to mind the history of the house and its beach location. The marble counter, and custom towel ladder, add a natural, modern finish to the room that match the homeowner's unique designer flair.

Guest bath in new addition. Stones for cabinet pulls, vertical rock for shower, horizontal planks for walls and ceiling creates warmth and a dressed up camp feel.

White carrera honed Hex tile and subway tile are complimented by the polished carrera on the custom designed vanity with Kohler Sinks. Thomas O’Brien Hicks pendants in Antique Nickel hang over the mirrors from Restoration Hardware. Faucets and Shower Hardware are the Grafton Collection from Restoration Hardware. Pocket doors were installed using the original 100 year old doors, and add usable space in the room. A 19x19 V-stone Nut in the color Cross Matte was chosen for the floor tile, as well as the shower walls and ceiling tile. The Sliced Green Ocean Stones sliced pebbles from Tesoro was used on the shower floor, inside the shower niche and for a vertical decorative panel. The spacious shower features a corner seat, secondary showerhead and frameless glass hinged door.

This is another complete remodel. Almost everyone has a home with a bathtub that can be converted, such as this space, "More and more people prefer larger showers to shower-tub combinations. This layout is a very common builder layout, too." We just luxed it up by adding a curbless shower, this means the shower floor is level with the main floor in the bathroom, no step up to get in. We also installed a liner drain! The client wanted modern and white. The tile design in the shower is stainless steel pebble tile on the wall cut in on a curve, along with a white glossy tile that has a metal reveal running horizontal. The same tile is contentious throughout bathroom. We tiled all the walls in the bathroom from floor to ceiling. Note the linear drain too.
