Powder bathroom with marble flooring

An atmospheric, dark, moody spa-like master ensuite in a Loughton family home. The black tiles are by Mandarin Stone and are two different formats- large format square and rectangular. A built in tiled ledge and niche allows all toiletries to be stored close to hand and gives space for indoor planting to be displayed.

Compact wall hung basin and shower enclosure

A tiny hall bath was dramatically changed from it's 1950s pink origins into a glamorous black and white statement room. A curved front, furniture-style vanity adds needed storage but doesn't crowd the space. Iridescent subway tiles change tone as the light changes. A lighted mirror alleviates the need for sconces and keeps the wall from feeling cluttered. The large scale wallpaper adds lots of drama. Anne Matheis Photography

The existing bathroom was typical 90's with blue laminate counter tops, beige square tiles and step-up hobs to the showers. The client wanted a practical, modern and tasteful makeover.

In this master bath remodel, we reconfigured the entire space, the tub and vanity stayed in the same locations but we removed 2 small closets and created one large one. The shower is now where one closet was located. We really wanted this space to feel like you were walking into a spa and be able to enjoy the peace and quite in the darkness with candles! These clients were incredibly happy with the finished space!

Fun accent tile. Etched shower glass barn door easily pulls to provide privacy. Existing shower space had concrete floors, but we wanted to add heated tile floors. So we built tile onto of concrete floor and created a slope for linear drain. GC create a minimal transition between floor materials. Ample room for shower chair.
