This master bathroom was very dated. There was an open space under the vanity for a refrigerator and bump outs near the shower/bath that made little sense. The clients wanted a space for their orchids, functional vanities, keeping the large mirrors but updating and replacing everything else. We made the bumped out wall flush and got the depth for our "orchid window", put LVT tile on the floors, took out the bath and replaced with a giant shower, put a custom linen closet where the old shower was located, quartz on counters and in shower, new tile and all the pretty things.

This was a remodel to have a Coastal Victorian flair. The door molding was boxed out so that the added wainscoting and crown would butt into the frame. The paint color was custom mixed, The vanity console is Koher. The floor and crown molding was also added.

Historically regarded as ‘The Purple House,’ a place where musicians have come and gone, we restored this 1910 historical building in East Nashville to become a boutique bed and breakfast. Developed by native Texans, the home is dubbed The Texas Consulate, with a soft spot for Texans. Much of the original structure and details remain, including the wood flooring, trim and casing, architectural niches, fireplaces and tile, brick chimneys, doors and hardware, cast iron tubs, and other special trinkets. We suggested minimal architectural interventions to accommodate the adaptation, in addition to curating hand-selected furniture, fixtures, and objects that celebrate the building’s art deco character. The main restaurant space in a Guangzhou lifestyle and entertainment complex. Named after the role of the head of customs during the Qing dynasty in the 19th century – a time when Canton was an essential port of trade between China and the rest of the world – the design of the restaurant reflects the menagerie of cultural influences that came about during that period, resulting in an aesthetic that is both varied and unique to a distinct time and place in history. Chinoiserie figures prominently throughout the design, bolstered by Scandinavian and industrial influences. In the main dining hall, an intricate timberwork ceiling recalls train cabins of old, while plush banquettes, brass trimmings, rattan screens and custom-designed rococo light fixtures intermingle to create a rich, tactile tapestry that evokes a world of refinement. The VIP rooms further build on a sense of intimacy with a predominantly dark palette, crystal palm tree chandeliers, decadent Coltex upholstery and custom rattan furniture.
