The priorities for this master bath remodel included an increased shower area, room for a dresser/clothes storage & the introduction of some sustainable materials. A custom built-in was created to house all of the husband’s clothes and was tucked neatly into the space formerly occupied by the shower. A local fabricator created countertops using concrete and recycled glass. The big, boxy tub, a floor model bought at an extreme discount, is the focal point of the room. Many of the other lines in the room echo its geometric and modern clean lines. The end result is a crisp, clean aesthetic that feels spacious and is filled with light.

Rev a shelf pullout with plug in for hair dryer

This opal colored mosaic tile called Metropolis Opal comes in a larger pattern, giving a variation of tones from cool blue silvers to warm beige's and creams. The tub surrounding is Nero Maltese and the floor is Polar ice. The black mosaic tiles on the walls are Brillante 260 3/8" x 3/8". These materials come in a variety of colors.

Manufacturer of custom recycled glass counter tops and landscape glass aggregate. The countertops are individually handcrafted and customized, using 100% recycled glass and diverting tons of glass from our landfills. The epoxy used is Low VOC (volatile organic compounds) and emits no off gassing. The newest product base is a high density, UV protected concrete. We now have indoor and outdoor options. Recycled Glass Countertop from Curava in Savaii with a 3cm eased edge. Porcelain Tile Flooring from Tesoro in Tivoli 24x24 Pearl with a Polished finish. Shower Wall Tile from Tesoro in Tivoli 12x24 Pearl with a Polished finish. Verve Glass Mosaic in Icelandic from Bedrosians was used for the Shower Niche. Sliced Pebbles from Stone Mosaics in Oyster Bay was used for the Shower Pan. The Shower Sills were completed with Recycled Glass from Curava in Savaii.

This wonderful renovation replaced an outdated (think - teal colored sinks, tub, etc.) hall bathroom into a new space that meets to needs of a multi-generational family and guests. Features include a curbless entry shower, dual vanities, no-slip matte porcelain flooring, a free standing tub, multiple layers of dimmable LED lighting, and a pocket door that eliminates door obstruction. Reinforced wall blocking was installed to allow for future additions of grab bars that might be needed. The warm beige palette features deep navy cabinetry, recycled glass countertops and shower bench seating and interesting mosaic tile accents framing the custom vanity mirrors.

This bathroom make over included moving the laundry to the second floor, relocating the toilet, updating the vanity, adding floating shelves, painting, retailing the shower and adding the swinging pull out Bain Signature glass. Notice the four niches with the hand painted tiles and fun wall paper.
