The basement bathroom had all sorts of quirkiness to it. The vanity was too small for a couple of growing kids, the shower was a corner shower and had a storage cabinet incorporated into the wall that was almost too tall to put anything into. This space was in need of a over haul. We updated the bathroom with a wall to wall shower, light bright paint, wood tile floors, vanity lights, and a big enough vanity for growing kids. The space is in a basement meaning that the walls were not tall. So we continued the tile and the mirror to the ceiling. This bathroom did not have any natural light and so it was important to have to make the bathroom light and bright. We added the glossy tile to reflect the ceiling and vanity lights.

This bathroom is a recent installation from the Worthing area designed by Aron who works from our Worthing showroom. This design is based on the current trend for deep impactful shades in the bathroom which seem to be extremely popular at the moment. The tiles used for this bathroom are Slate coloured Savanna ceramic wall tiles and because of their gloss coating help to reflect light around the bathroom and work exceptionally well with the white Deuco bathroom furniture chosen.

Providing as a dynamic design element, the spaces enveloping herringbone backsplash extends and frames the cornering shower and bath space.

La salle d'eau existante a subit un profond lifting, intégrant un sas dressing, dont le placard a été conçu sur mesure. Le style est résolument art déco, une palette de couleur douce, comprenant un joli bleu de chez Farrow and Ball, sur une base noir et blanc. Les sanitaires et radiateurs ne sont pas en reste: ils épousent le style, tout comme les interrupteurs en porcelaine.

We gave these incredible clients what they wanted while saving money by not moving any walls & keeping the existing window. The reclaimed wood is from a barn in Tennessee.
