The walls where moved and space was redesigned to borrow space from an adjoining bedroom to create this white tiled oasis. It's turquoise ceiling, silver clawfoot tub, vintage style tile wrapping the whole room and glamorous accents make this a bathroom fit for a queen. The overall layout of this west Chelsea penthouse did not change significantly but all storage, kitchen, and bathroom finishes were completely re-designed. Ceilings were raised and openings widened to create a flow between spaces. Custom millwork is clad in blackened steel and plywood doors provide another industrial accent. Large master bath with freestanding custom vanity cabinet designed to look like a piece of furniture

The renovated master bathroom features Porcelanosa's Antique Black porcelain floor tiles, Emser's Craft White 3x12 subway tiles on shower walls, and Novelty Herringbone glass mosaic tiles in "Opal" on the accent wall, all from Spazio LA Tile Gallery.

A full bathroom in a small space comes with its own set of challenges; our number one objective was to make it feel larger, airy, and brighter. We wanted to create a desirable, spa-like environment that the homeowners would feel rejuvenated in.
