This guest house and courtyard was part of the 2014 Designer Show House in Lighthouse Point, Florida benefitting Food for the Poor. My vision was a space that allowed guests to be transported, which is why I selected the guesthouse and courtyard. With careful attention to every detail, I created a modern sanctuary filled with exquisite, unique pieces that revive the spirit and inspire curiosity. It's a space where guests will feel transported with exotic elegance and leave invigorated.

On suite bathroom designed by Oliver Heath and sponsored by Interface Hospitality. Oliver, he talked me through his ideas and re-search creating the perfect sleep set using the principals of Biophilic Design. Oliver wanted to incorporate our Shou Sugi Ban material, Byakko - 白虎, in the bed frame, in the wall covering and on-suite bathroom furniture

For this lovely powder bathroom, we applied a glazed finish over a metallic texture. To add extra attention to the slightly raised damask designs, we further embellished them with glass beads. Copyright © 2016 The Artists Hands

This bathroom turned out amazing, even better in person! I think my favorite is the tub filler from the ceiling, it gives a waterfall effect when filling. We designed the whole bathroom around the marble sinks my clients found and loved!

This bathroom also features a Bain Ultra Air Jet Tub with a heated backrest. The flooring is a pistachio limestone tile with glass mosaic inserts.

The master bath feels spacious with the use of light, neutral colors and a glass enclosure. The view from the shower and bathtub of the surrounding woodland is private and peaceful. Rebecca Lindenmeyr
