This was a good sized bathroom with huge potential but we had limited budget. The aim was to create a modern and functional family bathroom. As this was in a Victorian terrance we wanted to include some traditional elements. The total spend on fittings and materials was under £3k. The extensive plastering and fitting a new layout took this to just over £5k.

A lovely loft conversion in Cambridge for a nursery and playroom for a little boy. The nursery also has a compact en-suite with a bath for easy bath times. Spacious high ceiling and velux and dormer window create a bright and airy space. The anthracite coloured windows are designed to match the roof slates Photography by Sturdy Build

After - Looks completely different! A natural slate style sheet vinyl that makes an impression on your eyes, but not a huge shock to your wallet! The bead-board ceiling is all finished in a nice glossy white paint. We were able to fix the uneven floor, so it now has a clean, safe transition.
