Este baño en suite en el que se ha jugado con los tonos azules del alicatado de WOW, madera y tonos grises. Esta reforma de baño tiene una bañera exenta y una ducha de obra, en la que se ha utilizado el mismo pavimento con acabado cementoso que la zona general del baño. Con este acabo cementoso en los espacios se ha conseguido crear un estilo atemporal que no pasará de moda. Se ha instalado grifería empotrada tanto en la ducha como en el lavabo, un baño muy elegante al que le sumamos calidez con el mobiliario de madera.

A classic 1925 Colonial Revival bungalow in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of Los Angeles restored and enlarged by Tim Braseth of ArtCraft Homes completed in 2013. Originally a 2 bed/1 bathroom house, it was enlarged with the addition of a master suite for a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Original vintage details such as a Batchelder tile fireplace with flanking built-ins and original oak flooring are complemented by an all-new vintage-style kitchen with butcher block countertops, hex-tiled bathrooms with beadboard wainscoting and subway tile showers, and French doors leading to a redwood deck overlooking a fully-fenced and gated backyard. We met these clients through a referral from a previous client. We renovated several rooms in their traditional-style farmhouse in Abington. The kitchen is farmhouse chic, with white cabinetry, black granite counters, Carrara marble subway tile backsplash, and a beverage center. The large island, with its white quartz counter, is multi-functional, with seating for five at the counter and a bench on the end with more seating, a microwave door, a prep sink and a large area for prep work, and loads of storage. The kitchen includes a large sitting area with a corner fireplace and wall mounted television. The multi-purpose mud room has custom built lockers for coats, shoes and bags, a built-in desk and shelving, and even space for kids to play! All three bathrooms use black and white in varied materials to create clean, classic spaces. RUDLOFF Custom Builders has won Best of Houzz for Customer Service in 2014, 2015 2016 and 2017. We also were voted Best of Design in 2016, 2017 and 2018, which only 2% of professionals receive. Firstly, consider your space. Is it rectangular or are you working with a long, narrow room? This will determine how many wet walls you can accommodate, and if a bathtub can fit. For example, in a narrow room a freestanding bathtub may not work, and a one-wall layout that lines up shower, toilet and vanity on the same wall will make sense in most cases. (It’s also the most budget-friendly option in terms of plumbing). Maybe separate rooms for toilet and shower make sense? Maybe you want to work with a window above a bathtub or in the shower. You may live in an old house where you can keep some of the original character of the home, or you may be working with a small apartment space. All these considerations are vital in deciding on which layout will work best for you. Have a look at some popular ideas to get started.

2 Consider How You Use Your Bathroom

Once you’ve gathered some inspiration, have a think about who is using the room, and how they will be using it.
