This family vacation home sadly burned to the ground in the recent Northern California 2017 fires. Years of remodeling and decorating had just been completed, photographed a few months ago. All four generations so enjoyed get aways to this Napa retreat which centered on nature, relaxing and family. Lots of fun curvy shaped upholstery, color and art flowed with the wonderful chaos of lots of families being together.
When I spoke to them on the phone, they were still in shock but said they planned to rebuilt and wanted me to be part of it.

Shampoo niche is 13" w x 24" h. The top glass shelf is 10" down from the top and the second glass shelf is 9" down from the upper glass shelf. Perfect for different sized shampoo and product bottles. The lowest shelf is for soap and razors.
The transom style window is 22.5" h x 28.5" w. The bottom of the window is 54.5" off the floor. Perfect for seeing the view and still private.

This was a very fun shower. We used the Marazzi Lounge 14 Cosmopolitan 12x24 textured porcelain tile. With brushed nickel fixtures. To give more of a beach feel we did the pebbled shower floor/ The shower has a double shower head and a rain head with all separate valves. To add extra lighting we went with 2- 4" LED recessed cans and one long soap niche centered in between the fixtures and the valves.

Full 2nd floor hallway bathroom remodel in the shower area received the same California Coastal design style with a beachy theme. The floor is tiled in sliced pebbles with the wood-look plank tile as the border and baseboard. The shower was tiled with a beveled edge subway tile on the lower portion of the wall. The upper portion of the wall was done in a beautiful teardrop accent tile laid in a horizontal wave pattern. A 19" deep soaking tub with a linear drain was added. The shower glass bypass doors are a barndoor style frameless system. This beautiful coastal design bathroom is all about the details.

We updated this full bathroom with elegant materials and fun textures for a unique look. Textured gray ceramic tile adds dimension to the shower walls. For the shower wall accent, and for the bathroom floors, we used a stunning multi color marble pebble mosaic tile. Light blue walls, white bead board and an all-white vanity add a modern vibe to this beachy bathroom.
