This room belongs to a little girl who loves horses and surfing. It was a 10 x 10 x 10 blank canvas that the parents wanted to keep simple but maximize storage so that it could grow with their little ones tastes and needs. To accomplish this we did white built-ins to the ceiling and added a trundle bed for sleep overs. The colors were pulled from the Ikat quilt the little girl picked out.

To address the site opportunities, the home utilizes a footprint that maximizes southern exposure in the rear while still capturing the park view in the front. We created a sanctuary in the master bedroom using soft color tones mixed with grey, white and beige. A new custom headboard made for a classy focal point when viewing the room from the bedroom entry. The master bathroom spruce up includes new porcelain shower tile, a new bathroom vanity/counter, and new brushed nickel plumbing fixtures. The new shower glass made for a nice compliment to the outstanding selections.

We transformed this bedroom by painting the walls soft alabaster white and gave it a modern coast style with the use of natural light oak wood furniture. We grounded the bed and broke up the white carpet with this hand knotted wool area rug with a coastal boho attitude. The brass finish on the lamps bring it back to a mid-century modern appeal. Everything in this room is serene clean and inviting.
