This new, ocean-view home is built on a residential street two blocks from of the Atlantic Ocean. The home was designed to balance the owners’ desire for a modern beach-house style while still belonging to and enhancing the established neighborhood of original cottages and newer, three-story homes. Designed for a 40-foot wide lot, the home makes the most of the narrow, 26-foot-wide buildable area through the use of cantilevered decks and porches. The home’s scale is kept in proportion to the original houses on the street by limiting the front to two stories and by setting the roof deck behind a gabled parapet wall. Integrity® All Ultrex® windows and doors were specified for this house because of their durability to stand up to the harsh, coastal environment and meet the strict impact zone ratings.

All I would need is a pair of flip flops and a cold beverage for this porch. This warm colors invite you in, and the beautiful décor will get you to stay. I can almost hear the gulls from here!

Off of the main family room is a three-season office with reclaimed corrugated steel and barn beam ceiling. The adjacent porch has concealed Phantom electric screens that drop on the touch of a button.

A distressed cottage located on the West River in Maryland was transformed into a quaint yet modern home. A coastal theme reverberated through the house to create a soothing aesthetic that will inspire it's homeowners and guests for years to come. A comfortable location to sit back and enjoy life on the water.

Hanging out on the porch bed swing never seemed so inviting! There is plenty of room to kick back and share a quiet moment and a good glass of wine.
