Let me walk you through how this unique powder room layout was transformed into a charming space filled with vintage charm: First, I took a good look at the layout of the powder room to see what I was working with. I wanted to keep any special features while making improvements where needed. Next, I added vintage-inspired fixtures like a pedestal sink, faucet with exposed drain (key detail) along with beautiful lighting to give the space that old hotel charm. I made sure to choose pieces with intricate details and finishes that matched the vintage vibe. Then, I picked out some statement wallpaper with bold, vintage patterns to really make the room pop. Think damask, floral, or geometric designs in rich colours that transport you back in time; hello William Morris. Of course, no vintage-inspired space is complete without antique accessories. I added mirrors, sconces, and artwork with ornate frames and unique details to enhance the room's vintage charm. To add warmth and texture, I chose luxurious textiles like hand towels with interesting detail. These soft, plush fabrics really make the space feel cozy and inviting. For lighting, I installed vintage-inspired fixtures such as a gun metal pendant light along with sophisticated sconces topped with delicate cream shades to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I made sure they had dimmable bulbs so you can adjust the lighting to suit your mood. To enhance the vintage charm even further, I added architectural details like wainscoting, shiplap and crown molding. These details really elevate the space and give it that old-world feel. I also incorporated unique artifacts and vintage finds, like cowbells and vintage signage, to add character and interest to the room. These items were perfect for displaying in our cabinet as decorative accents. Finally, I upgraded the hardware with vintage-inspired designs to complement the overall aesthetic of the space. I chose pieces with modern detailing and aged finishes for an authentic vintage look. And there you have it! I was able to transform a unique powder room layout into a charming space reminiscent of an old hotel.

This was the existing bathroom vanity. We reused the vanity and mirror. We replaced the broken faucets and sconces. One of the biggest challenges was keeping the tile on the walls and finding new tile for the floors and shower that would work together.

Second Floor Master Bathroom

Carrera marble in all its glory is the big show stopper in this Bolton Hill rowhome master bath renovation. What started as a cramped, chopped up room was opened into a sparkling, luxurious space evocative of timeless Old World mansion baths. The result demonstrates what’s possible when mixing multiple marble tile shapes, colors and patterns. To visually frame the bathroom, we installed 6” x 12” honed Carrera marble tiles laid in a herringbone pattern for wainscotting, and carried the same marble pattern into the shower stall in order to create depth and dimension. The wainscotting is set off by beautifully-detailed Carrera marble chair rail and black tile pencil moulding. Carrera hex shower tiles, marble sills and bench, and intricate Carrera and black mosaic flooring complete the marble details. The crisp white double vanity and inconspicuous builtins tastefully compliment the marble, and the brass cabinet hardware, mirrors and plumbing and lighting fixtures add a burst of color to the room.

In a Brookline home, the upstairs hall bath is renovated to reflect the Parisian inspiration the homeowners loved. A black custom vanity and elegant stone countertop with wall-mounted fixtures is surrounded by mirrors on three walls. Graceful black and white marble tile, wainscoting on the walls, and marble tile in the shower are among the features. We gutted this outdated 1980's traditional Master Bathroom and transformed it into a modern/contemporary space for our bachelor client. We kept the details simple with black minimalistic hardware and matching plumbing fixtures. The 60" tall framed mirrors and oversized modern sconces give a lasting impression. The double vanity is 10 ft long and has an incredible amount of storage. The expansive shower and 70" square jacuzzi bathtub have been enclosed with tempered glass to create a "wet room" effect. We kept the toilet room separate from these more luxurious features of the bathroom.

Masterfully designed and executed Master Bath remodel in Landenburg PA. Dual Fabuwood Nexus Frost vanities flank the bathrooms double door entry. A new spacious shower with clean porcelain tiles and clear glass surround replaced the original cramped shower room. The spacious freestanding tub looks perfect in its new custom trimmed opening. the client decided to eliminate the bathtub and install a large shower with partial fixed shower glass instead of a shower door
