Interior Enhancement Group, Inc.Our clients wanted a lot of comfortable seating, so we chose a sectional that can accommodate six to seven people, plus two arm chairs and an ottoman that can double as another seat. The layout encourages conversation or watching a movie or sports on the wall-mounted TV. A fire is optional.
Lenox House DesignA welcoming living room off the front foyer is anchored by a stone fireplace in a custom blend for the home owner. A limestone mantle and hearth provide great perching spaces for the homeowners and accessories. All furniture was custom designed by Lenox House Design for the Home Owners.

Act 1 Flooring, Inc.Act 1 Flooring supplied and installed the floors and accent wall around the fireplace. The accent wall has white stacked stone which really brightens up the room. The floors are a dark, engineered hardwood that comes in wide planks. The wet bar right in the living room is great for hosting. We love this custom living room.

SHIALICEIn contrast to the rest of the bright white home, we created an inky TV room with custom wall to wall blackout drapery and more masculine materials such as leather and concrete. This was also to be the family room so we added a soft bamboo silk rug for their new baby.

Athens white to tan color range helps bring a uniform look to your natural stone veneer project. The rectangular shapes with squared edges and various sizes of the Athens stones make it perfect for creating random patterns in projects like accent walls and fireplace surrounds. The selection of stone size also allows for a balanced look without a repeating pattern. Smaller projects like siding for small workshops, surrounding entry or garage doors, and adding accents to mailboxes or light posts are also possible with Athens various stone sizes. Athens light tones add a natural look to any décor or architecture and become a conversation starter with guests.
Electronic Lifestyle Associates (ela)When this client was planning to finish his basement we knew it was going to be something special. The primary entertainment area required a “knock your socks off” performance of video and sound. To accomplish this, the 65” Panasonic Plasma TV was flanked by three Totem Acoustic Tribe in-wall speakers, two Totem Acoustic Mask in-ceiling surround speakers, a Velodyne Digital Drive 15” subwoofer and a Denon AVR-4311ci surround sound receiver to provide the horsepower to rev up the entertainment.
The basement design incorporated a billiards room area and exercise room. Each of these areas needed 32” TV’s and speakers so each eare could be independently operated with access to the multiple HD cable boxes, Apple TV and Blu-Ray DVD player. Since this type of HD video & audio distribution would require a matrix switching system, we expanded the matrix output capabilities to incorporate the first floor family Room entertainments system and the Master Bedroom. Now all the A/V components for the home are centralized and showcased in one location!
Not to miss a moment of the action, the client asked us to custom embedded a 19” HD TV flush in the wall just above the bathroom urinal. Now you have a full service sports bar right in your basement! Controlling the menagerie of rooms and components was simplified down to few daily use and a couple of global entertainment commands which we custom programmed into a Universal Remote MX-6000 for the basement. Additional MX-5000 remotes were used in the Basement Billiards, Exercise, family Room and Master Suite.
Griffin Engineering LLCInstallation of a gas fireplace in a family room: This design is painted tumbled brick with solid red oak mantle. The owner wanted shiplap to extend upward from the mantle and tie into the ceiling. The stack was designed to carry up through the roof to provide proper ventilation in a coastal environment. The Household WIFI/Sonos/Surround sound system is integrated behind the TV.

scutterflyAfter opening up a space between the adjoining room (the existing living room I'll be combing with the kitchen), I then installed new wiring for new can lights, more electrical outlets and the built in electric fireplace. Then I put new drywall to cover the walls and ceiling. I built the fireplace surround and floating shelves. I will be opening this room into the kitchen build to make an open floor plan.
Denver Design GroupTo modernize the fireplace we designed a larger mantel with simple millwork and barn wood planks to draw your eye up to the vaulted ceiling.
MainStreet Design BuildWe were lucky to work with a blank slate in this nearly new home. The entertainment area became a stunning focal point with a full wall of custom-made built-ins, housing a large screen tv and a vast array of books and games. Acting as a partition to this area is an open bar detail with customized wood columns and a live edge ash bar top. The live edge wood was carried around the perimeter and topped the wainscoting of reclaimed corrugated metal. Matching this detail are gorgeous barn doors that hide more game storage. A distinctive Lego table was created to match the adjacent cabinetry and finishes.
