The walls are finished in shuttering plywood coated in olive oil , this surface allows pictures to be hung at will. The kitchen cabinetry was built from matched boards of douglas fir, the carpenter was from Yorkshire and was meticulous in the detail. The kitchen table is the centre of this house.
