Coastal chic hallway and staircase with driftwood effect laminate flooring. The staircase was formely a white gloss painted affair with spindles. Due to its structural integrity across 3 floors we clad it in oak veneer and added a glass balustrade and pig's ear handrail. A chevron striped carpet in shades of teal and blue completed the scheme.

Looking down the hallway from the open concept, a black barn door slides away to reveal the mud-room with custom dog shower!

This portion of the remodel was designed by removing the wall between the hallway and family room expanding the space creating more open feel from one side of the house to the other. The custom IKEA cabinet fronts and were built by Dendra Doors. The tile on the back of the island and side bar backsplash was hand painted and imported to us. We completed the space with an over sized knotty alder barn door.
